"Be Prepared" Meets Pimento!

IF you find yourself with any remaining #Trefoils, the great Girl Scout cookie which is also known as Shortbread, and IF you find yourself with #pimento cheese that you wish to try in a new way, THEN, you must stop what you are doing now (read on first) and top the Trefoils with pimento cheese!
If you were ever a #Girl Scout, or happen to be a parent to one, then you might know the Girl Scout motto: "Be prepared." In the 1947 Girl Scout Handbook, the motto was explained this way: "A Girl Scout is ready to help out wherever she is needed. Willingness to serve is not enough; you must know how to do the job well, even in an emergency."
Although I was never a girl scout, I sure do enjoy February and feel this philosophy pretty much mirrors my mission in Ode to Pimento Cheese.  We must be prepared to use this great #Southern goodness and help others find great new ways to enjoy it as well.  My goal is to do the job well, even in a pimento cheese emergency, so that others will be armed with the knowledge to do their jobs as well.
Using the basic recipe for pimento cheese, simply take one rounded teaspoon and use it to top one Trefoil. For a savory twist on #milk and #cookies, pour yourself a small glass and enjoy!  Conversely, I can see this being a great bedtime treat to enjoy with an amoretto nightcap.

If you find yourself in a true emergency, that is no remaining Trefoils, top a #shortbread cookie instead.  In the meantime, February 2015 can't come soon enough!
